Vintage Boujad rug / 330 x 220 cm

A remarkable vintage Boujad rug, wide in stature and rich in story. The journey begins in a field of deep plum, gradually dissolving into a soft, faded magenta, as if the color itself is telling time. The weaver’s hand is fearless and fluid, scattering the surface with an eclectic constellation of Berber symbols. Some are familiar, others abstract, all woven in painterly confidence. Bursts of bright orange and hot pink give way to gentle whispers of ice blue, lemon, and soft pink, punctuated by bold notes in charcoal and pure white.

This is not just a rug, but a visual rhythm, a tapestry of heritage, intuition, and artistic freedom. Densely hand-knotted in a soft, medium pile and beautifully finished with braided tassels on one end.
