A striking vintage runner kilim from the Zayane region, woven in a dramatic charcoal-to-black field that gives center stage to its vivid tribal motifs. The palette includes ruby red, chartreuse, soft pink, pale sky blue and white, a lively mix that pops against the dark background.
The composition alternates horizontal bands of repeated Berber symbols with deep black sections, creating a rhythm of pattern and pause. The entire piece is framed with zigzag borders in the same four hues, adding symmetry and movement. The tight weave and intricate rendering of motifs speak to the high skill of the artisan.
