This delightful vintage flatweave from the Azrou region hums with a soft retro soul. Its base in deep burgundy sets the tone, a warm, grounding field for the delicate symphony of symbols that dance across it.
Horizontal bands vary in size, each carrying intricate miniature motifs that, when repeated, form larger symbolic patterns, like whispered echoes folding into song. Shades of cyan blue and mustard yellow repeat with rhythm, accented by crisp white details that bring brightness and clarity.
The composition is balanced and deeply human, showing both precision and playfulness. One end is finished with long, twirled tassels in black, a grounding note to close the weave, while the selvedges are tightly finished, preserving the strength of the piece.
