Plush and beautifully woven, this Beni Ouarain rug captures the essence of the Middle Atlas craftsmanship. Its dense, double-knotted pile offers a luxurious texture underfoot, set in a natural ivory-to-cream wool base. A network of delicate diamond motifs creates a loosely symmetrical rhythm, gently framed by a ladder-like structure, often seen as a symbol of protection.
Knotted in a melange of charcoal, grey, and taupe, the motifs carry a subtle depth, while bold black borders ground the piece with quiet strength. A few distinct symbols break the repetition, a quiet nod to the hand of the weaver.
